5.3 Footage upload rules When uploading footage to Stockxpert, please keep in mind that your files must match certain criteria to be marketable. Our customers demand high quality clips that are creative, interesting and useful at the same time. You must also obtain all the necessary permissions from your models to prevent potential legal trouble. No Audio in any clip. For Final Full Resolution Movies, please use any of the following codecs (we do not accept DVCPRO codecs): PhotoJPG PNG MJPEG-A/B H.264 Animation Indicate if your clip uses and Alpha Channel by checking the checkbox marked Alpha Channel. Use Animation or PNG Codecs only for Alpha Channeled clips. You can do this when you edit keywords and descriptions after uploading your clips. You will see a checkbox option for Alpha Channel. All recognizable logos must be removed from the clip before submission, for copyright and trademark reasons. Please provide model and property releases needed. We reserve the right to reject clips that we don't find suitable for the site. Make sure you have read the above guidelines carefully. Make sure your clips are not blurry, shaky (unless done for a specific effect) and are good quality. Also, do not over-compress your files. Remove copyrighted content Stockxpert does not allow clips that contain logos and trademarks (apart from a few pieces where it can't be avoided). Before uploading please edit these out from your Footage. DO NOT UPLOAD footage with any text, timestamp or watermark footage with visual frames footage containing copyrighted material (paintings, posters, advertisements, cd / book / dvd covers, logos, audio) adult / violent content footage with excessive blur, noise or that is overcompressed. footage that is too dark or badly lit footage where the subject is too small or barely visible people shot without signed model releases portraits and people shots without signed model releases footage of places or objects that require the permission of the owners without signed property releases TOPICS WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR Timelapse clips, traffic, nature (clouds).
